Pike Central Middle/High School Athletics

The middle school girls track team had some strong showings at the Pocket Athletic Conference meet at Princeton yesterday. Braylee Schuessler placed 5th in Discus with a PR 71'7", Neva Schilling placed 3rd in Pole Vault, Zoey Cannon placed 7th in the 400m, Indy Hill placed 7th in the 300m Hurdles and improved her own school record time in the mile running a 5:42 and placing 3rd. The 4x800m Relay team (Blackwell, Franklin, Hill, and Goodrich) placed 8th, and the 4x400m Relay team (Hill, Cannon, Schilling, and Franklin) placed 5th and qualified for the Indiana State Track and Field Championship meet on May 24th, Great job Chargers.
