Pike Central Middle/High School Athletics

We came out and had some momentum right away and was doing a great job, but a really hard dipping cross got forest park a goal in the first half. We held up well and had a few chances to strike, but the score held 1-0 @ half. The second half we had stretches where we outplayed them for a few minutes and had sone nice chances, but couldn't get one. Alyssa hit one off the bar, and Ava had a chance yo put it back in, just missed on both. Forest park kept pressure on and scored one on a nice save by Daegan, but it still went in the side net. They scored there last goal on a corner where we just didnt mark a couple girls, and we have to be better at those. Very proud of the effort on a very hot day, and alot of players first time on soccer turf. We are back Tuesday at south knox Varsity vs Forest Park Jr-Sr High School Loss
